Returns and Refunds

Returns - Cooling off period

As per South Africa Consumer Protection Act 2008, goods may be returned within 7 days from purchase, all goods must be in perfect working order and in their original packaging. This does not include items that have been imported specifically for the buyer.

Step 1 - Email BuildWithElectronics at info@BuildWithElectronics.co.za with a description of the goods you wish to return.
Step 2 - BuildWithElectronics will respond to your mail with a return address. Any postal/courier charge is for the consumer's account.
Step 3 - BuildWithElectronics will inspect the returned goods and issue a refund excluding shipping costs (subject to the goods being in working order and in there complete packaging) within 30 days after the date of receipt of goods.

Returns - Damaged goods

As per South Africa Consumer Protection Act 2008, goods that are defective or damaged may be returned within 30 days. Please note goods will go through an inspection where if it is found that the goods are damaged due to neglegance on the consumer's part, BuildWithElectronics will notify the consumer as such and a refund will not be granted.Component goods will not be refunded once worked-on by the consumer.

Step 2 - BuildWithElectronics will respond to your mail with a return address. Any postal/courier charge is for the consumer's account.
Step 3 - BuildWithElectronics will inspect the returned goods and repair, replace or refund (excluding shipping costs) the price of the defective goods within 30 days after the receipt of defective goods.

All products are imported and therefore BuildWithElectronics are unable to refund or replace products unless they are seen as damaged or faulty. Therefore the onus is on the buyer to select the correct products and BuildWithElectronics will not be held liable for any inconvenience or loss caused by this.
