How is the information gathered by the website used?

BuildwithElectronics obtains the information you provide when you register on the website. We use it to contact you from time to time with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.

Only BuildwithElectronics and Teacup Technology cc will use the information you give. It won't be shared with a third party without your consent, unless required by law — such as to comply with a subpoena or legal process, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

Children

BuildwithElectronics does not knowingly solicit data from, or market to, children under the age of 13. By using this website you represent that you are over the consenting age of 13, and that you have the legal right to give information and/or make a purchase on the website.

Warranty

We warrant that all our goods are new and of good quality unless we clearly describe them as used, reconditioned, or as having specific defects. We offer a 30-day warranty on all products against defects under normal household or business use, in the absence of any misuse or negligence. Any cost of returning the product is for the customer's account. On receiving the returned product, we'll inspect it; if it is indeed defective, it will be repaired or replaced and sent back to the customer free of charge. If the product is found to be damaged through misuse or gross negligence, it will be returned at the customer's expense.

Security

We care about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the information we process and maintain — for example, we limit access to authorised employees and contractors who need it to process your order. Please be aware that while we work to provide reasonable security, no system can prevent every possible breach.
